How to Improve your life
Here is a list of 50 simple things which you can do on a daily basis to improve your life and the others around you, some of these take less than 10 minutes and when followed consistently will deliver astonishing results.
1) Compliment
Give someone a complement atleast once a day. Its as simple as telling someone how good they look, or how beautiful their smile is. Your simple compliment might end up making someone's day.
2) Smile
Smile more and smile big, A genuine smile goes a long way than any small talk.
3) Practice Mindfulness
If you do not have 30 minutes to meditate on a daily basis, start small by being mindful. Just be in the moment, observe your hands or your room or the scene outside window. Observe the surroundings around you, listen to the noises and sounds your mind normally choose to ignore, feel the texture of the cloth on your skin. Just be in the moment for 5 minutes at a time.
4) Brush your teeth
Brush your teeth twice a day, once in morning and once at night. Good oral hygiene from young age saves you from lot of tooth problems later in life.
5) Clean your Room
Start small by spending 5 minutes putting things in their place.
6) Drink more water
Replace your soda with regular water, water has 0 calories and its good for you.
7) Read a book
If you do not want to read a new book, reread your childhood favorite. Try to spend only 10 minutes a day trying to read.
8) Start a hobby
Start simple, read about your new hobby on forums/reddit to get started.
9) Respond do not react
In all situations, Learn to respond more and to react less.
10) Reduce time on Social Media
Install apps which can track how much time you are spending on Social Media. Gradually start reducing the time you spend
11) Create a gratitude ceremony
Maybe you wanna do it at dinner, or early in the morning when you wake up or right before you are about to sleep. Try spending a few minutes every day being thankful for the people and things you have in your life.
12) Random act of Kindness
Can be a simple gesture or an offer to help.
13) Do the dishes
If not today, tomorrow it will be still you cleaning the dishes tomorrow. So why not do it now, instead of letting them pile up.
14) Just do it
If it takes less than a few minutes to do something and if you are not doing anything, Just do it.
15) Check your spending
Track your spending, a few dollars here and there every day ends up becoming 100 or more dollars at the end of the month.
16) Make a budget
Once you track your spending, Identify things that you might be spending more than necessary and try to stick to that allocated amount going forward.
17) Breathe Deeply
Just take a deep breath, turn off the fight/flight mode by breathing deeply.
18) Exercise
Resistance bands or Body weight or Actual weights. Exercise is good for now and long term.
19) Stretch
Never stretch a cold muscle, end all your exercise routines by a simple 10 minute stretch.
20) Cardio
Cardio like Running and Jogging increases grey matter in your brain. More grey matter, better the brain.
21) Take Professional help
Speak to a professional, both for your mind and for your house repair.
22) Eat better
Eating better starts with knowing what you are eating, spend a few minutes reading the ingredients of the product you are purchasing.
23) Sleep schedule
Try to stick to a schedule, 8 is best, 7 hours is good, but 6 is required.
24) Move a little more
Yep, Move a little more. Turn on the music and movie or just move. You spend more calories standing and working compared to sitting.
25) Call Someone
Pick up the phone and call someone that you have been postponing for many weeks now.
26) Meditate
Mediate with open eyes or closed eyes, Standing or sitting, Observing the outside or the inside. Just meditate.
27) Make your bed
Start your day by making the bed, its simple and it keeps you disciplined.
28) Increase Body Awareness
At random moments during day, bring your awareness to various parts of your body. Are you tensing your shoulders or feet. Let go and relax.
29) Learn a new language
Duolingo or Youtube, spend a few minutes every week, a new language is like a portal to a different culture and customs.
30) Save a little more
Save the amount of about 6 months of your salary as an Emergency Fund. Pay yourself first by saving about 10% to 20% of your salary every month. Read the book "Richest man in Babylon"
31) No screens when eating
Chew your food slowly, if you are focused on your eating you will eat less and enjoy more.
32) Make yourself a nice bath
Add that fancy stuff in your bath, light a candle and some soft music and relax. You deserve it.
33) Massage your head
Warm some coconut oil or just with your bare hands massage your scalp to increase blood circulation.
34) Spend a few minutes in Sun
You need some D in your life, I mean Vitamin D. Go spend a few minutes in Sun.
35) Reduce Porn
Porn has become the silent addiction affecting the population now. Read about nofap and how porn affects your brain.
36) Journal
When you write, you relive the experience again. A second perspective always helps.
37) Unsubscribe
Unsubscribe, you really dont need so many alerts and emails in life.
38) Delete Apps
Declutter your smartphone by deleting apps that you rarely use.
39) Use Staircase
Once a day use the stairs, ditch the elevator. Its good for your heart and for your lungs.
40) Donate time or money
Give time or money, help others.
41) Keep yourself updated

Take a hike, listen to birds/insects or gaze to starlit night.
